Now it was time… When a litter of kittens is born, it feels like an eternity to the day when it's time for them to move, but in no time at all we are there. It's been a great time with this litter, for many weeks we have been at home with them all day. There have been a little less visiters here than we usually have in the summer – due to Corona infection of course – but we have made sure that those who have come have socialized the kittens.
Nelson moved to his new home last Saturday, it's empty here without him but how good he is in his new home!
He is now called Eddie and has moved to Anna, Richard, Elin and Ida in Helsingborg.
They already have Matti from our litter last summer. His name is now Ozzy and he is big, kind and beautiful.
Eddie and Ozzy got along so well from the beginning, we have received such great reports on how well things are going.
We are really happy that our Nelson got to come to them, they like their cats so much and take such good care of them!
Nisse is moving this Sunday, his name will be Morris and he will live with our Ida and her partner Alex. Of course, it is wonderful for us that he stays within the family!
There, Nisse will have a wonderful and loving home together with the cute cat friend Malva who is only a couple of months older than him.
She is very mischievous and inventive so they will probably play all day. Here is a photo of Malva on an adventure on the vine.
Nellie will stay with us, we are happy for that.
We like her very much and hope that she will enjoy herself with us and with the other cats.
Hopefully she can have little babies in the future.
Mother Embla seems to think that her assignment as a fostering mother is coming to an end now. Sometimes she is annoyed with the kittens and we never see them suckle anymore, it is only natural that she pushes them out of the nest. She has been a fantastic mother so it is as it should be that she takes care of herself now. It may be a bit of a difficult period because Nellie stays but it usually passes over eventually.
12-weeks' photos – the last of the litter – can be found at N litter's page. They are really lovely, these kittens, how happy we are to have had them with us for three months!
