Oh, so crazy they are the little ones! When they are mischievous, they jump on equal footing – preferably straight on top of each other, rush around and throw themselves back and forth and wrestle hard. They are quick as weasels and listen to the slightest sound as something to investigate.
We've filmed each kitten this week, it's fun to share some moving pictures of small moving babies. You can find the films at N litter's page, below the photos of each kitten.
At this age, they have begun to see certain toys as a prey, they seize one thing and refuse to share it with their siblings. Growls and runs away, it's very cute to look at how serious they are in this. Here is a video where Nisse has caught a large prey that the others are trying to take away from him:
In the midst of all the mischief, they also love to be cuddled with, like to fall asleep near us. When we come in to them in the morning or when we have been away somewhere and come home, they sit expectantly inside the gate that screens off to the living room and look forward to getting attention. Then they lie down on the floor, stretch the body and enjoy being petted.
Every litter we have here at home, we usually try to bring out once to take photos of them in the garden. We have done that this week. It is truly an adventure – most for us, probably! Because they've never been out before – more than when we bring them in our arms from time to time – it is very exciting to feel and smell everything new. The most difficult thing about taking pictures then is to capture their attention and try to get them to look into the camera. You can see at the 9-week pictures on N litter's page that we managed so-so… But we had fun!
This week's post ends with two pictures that are very similar to each other, but there are about nine weeks between the pictures. In both pictures, Nelson hugs Nisse – on the first they are three days old….
