Now the N litter has been on their first adventure – to the vet. Mum Embla got to come along as she is the best role model in the world, calm and confident in the car and at the vet. Therefore, the little ones thought this was a nice adventure.
We have about ten minutes by car to the vet, during that time they fell asleep – or at least almost . They woke up when we went in to the veterinarian but then fell asleep after a while waiting at the reception. Nelson did his best to stay awake but he too went out. Embla was the one who fell asleep first 🙂
The vet was so calm and gentle, felt through the small bodies and listened to their hearts. Everything was fine with them! Finally, they were also vaccinated, they didn't even seem to notice they got a injection. Afterwards they fell asleep immediately in the transport box again. A very successful outing, then!
Of course they are not always that calm, it certainly gets wild here at home some moments! They wrestle hard with each other and rush back and forth between the rooms. They often carry around small toys and look very proud then. They are also very happy to play with the hanging toys in the gantry they have been given by our friend Karin.
When they have finished playing, they often fall asleep together – or sometimes in different places. If they are really lucky, there is a human on the sofa who is warm and soft to sleep on.
On N litter's page you will find the 8-week pictures. We conclude this week's post with a slideshow from the kittens' everyday lives in the living room.
