Four weeks and playful

Anyone who has seen kittens for the first time try to do little playful jumps aside understand how entertaining this week has been for us!

Between three and four weeks of age a lot happens with the playfulness. It started with the small jumps – which often result in losing balance – until that they now have real wrestling matches with each other. Quite lovely to look at!

Now they are also at the age when they with a little effort can climb up in our lap themselves when we sit on the floor. That is for some reason one of the most fun and exciting activities to do for a little kitten.

The babies may now be out on the floor in the laundry room all the time. The laundry room is a good place when they now are about to start eating wet food and learn to use the litter box. The floor is also perfect for practicing walking and running because it is not slippery.

Now we have cut the claws on all of the small ones for the first time, we will do that at least once a week to get them used to it.
