Five weeks and happy eaters!

Oh, how nice it is with food! Now, our small ones have been eating wet food for almost a week, from day one, all five were crazy about the food. Usually it takes a few days for one or some of the kittens to understand what the food will be good for, but that was not the case here. We put them all at the plate and all five ate directly . Here is a little video where they eat, if you turn on the sound, you can hear how good they think it is…

For a few days, they have now also eaten dry food. They are using the litter box, knew immediately what they would use it for. If one goes, everyone else wants to go at the same time, it can get a little crowded…

We have had my brother and his children on a visit here for a couple of weeks, it has been great for the kittens – lots of nice attention for them! Two of the kittens will eventually move to Selma and Oliver – it's just not decided which two it will be yet. Selma and Oliver are so great with the kittens!

So far, the kittens are in the laundry room, which is next to the kitchen. The small ones love our company, so when they hear that we are in the kitchen they shout at us as loud as they can. We are happy to go to them then!

The best thing they know is still to climb up in the lap of us but they have now also begun to play with toys. They have got some rustling balls that they think are very funny! They have also started carrying around toys, it looks really funny because their bodies are not very big yet…

Still they sleep most of the time, of course, then we disturb them as little as possible. It is so nice to look at a whole bunch of small fluffy babies. Embla is a fantastically good mother who likes to lie beside them and is very patient – both with their play and with different people that come to visit.
