Big sister Penny is still an important part of the kittens' lives. She takes care of them and plays with them, she is only one year old and really enjoys the little ones.
Now it is noticeable that the kittens are becoming more and more independent. They still mostly play and sleep with each other, but they are no longer as dependent on each other.
A kitten can now decide on its own to do something and then does it without seeming to care if the others follow along.
They also challenge each other in the game – training to become big and strong. They are never really enemies, it's just about playing to learn.
Now the kittens have understood the routine that wet food is served in the morning and evening. They love it, so they sit and wait – or walk around our feet and meows – when it's time.
Sometimes you find the kittens sleeping in a neat group in the middle of the floor – it's always because mother Nellie has been there to nurse them and so they've fallen asleep when she left them.
We filmed each kitten separately this week, the movies are now on R litter's page. It's really not easy to make a good movie, but at least you can see what the kitten is up to 🙂
This weekend we had a visit from Rufus' future family – he will have a very good time with them and his future friend the ragdoll Cleo!
Ronja has also been able to meet her future family, albeit remotely in a video meeting, she will also have a gloriously fine life with them!
