It is not easy to photograph the little ones now, they are faster than lightning. You must seize the opportunity when they are asleep if you want sharp pictures…
All three kittens are really so nice to be around now. They are happy to be with us and seem to understand the benefit of being around people.
We have had new overnight guests this week, another “cousin family”, and last Saturday we had a whole bunch of guests for dinner. Very nice to get so much help socializing the kittens! They really are at a cute age now, so it doesn't take much persuasion to get those visiting to sit down with the kittens.
In normal cases, we usually take the litter to the vet for the first vaccination at 8 to 9 weeks of age. Because kittens now shall stay with the breeder for at least 14 weeks (earlier it was 12), we will wait another week or so with vaccination.
Once during their time with us, we usually take the kittens out into the garden to photograph them – if there is weather for it. This week they have therefore had acted as models on a stone next to some ferns – very cute pictures, we think! Normally we post four pictures of each kitten – this time it had to be eight… You can find the pictures as usual at P litter's page. There you will now also find a short video of each kitten.
