Now we have visits from our cousins for about a week, it's great for the kitties! They get a lot of attention from the kids – who are also very used to cats. It is very nice to have help with the care of the little ones!
We had midsummer celebrations here with many – for the kittens – new people in the house. Lots of sounds, talk and laugh, and the little lives don't seem to care one bit. Just happy that so many people want to join them… They're not that huge yet, so we kept the wooden board between the kitchen and the living room and so the guests were allowed to enter the kitchen in orderly ways. After all, we ourselves are used to moving carefully so that no kitten gets caught, but for others it can be difficult to keep feet, doors and chairs in order. Seven-week-old kittens are pretty fast!
As usual, they sleep a lot – and that's also when it's easiest to photograph them as you'll notice in today's post…
Sometimes, however, things can go really wild, you learn to persevere when you have siblings who practice hunting and defense on you.
Now we have vacation, it means long, lovely days at home with the cats. We have no plans for any longer trips this summer, so we have plenty of time to enjoy the little ones. If you want to see this week's pictures, you can find them at P litter's page.
