So at last the waiting is over! Late Sunday evening – on the 24 th of april – Gulli gave birth to three beatiful kittens , all girls! So excited and happy we are about them! It turned out one day later that Gulli had yet another kitten in the belly, it had sad to say been dead for a while and was taken out by caesarean. Very sad of course, but it feels so nice and good that Gulli and the three that we have are doing well!
Gulli is a fantastic mother, takes such good care of her young ones. We're really looking forward to take part in the first weeks of their lives, it will be wonderful!
The days before birth Embla was so incredibly caring for Gulli, she seemed to know that she needed support! On Sunday, she stayed by Gulli and pressed herself as close to her as she could on the couch. It was so sweet to see!
