Then came the day when the kittens found a way to get over the gate between the living room and the hall. We usually wait as long as possible to let them be in the whole house, because we want them to have grown up before they run up and down the stairs. But now we found them in the hall one day, and then it was just as well to remove the gate. And as we suspected – they love the stairs! They run up and down it at full speed! The first evening they even all fell asleep on the top step…
So now we have had to put away things that we don't want the kittens to chew on, such as shoes with shoelaces. We have also rescued some of the grandchildren's toys from sharp kitten teeth.
We love that the kitties can be all over the house, it's so much fun to have them around! A good thing is that they can now come themselves and join the sofa in front of the TV: .
As with all previous litters, Lasse has taken on the responsibility of making them want to be in your lap.
Perhaps the very best place is the conservatory. They can be there for long periods of time – play, sleep and look out into the garden.
