When you get kittens – which we got in the beginning of May – you think it's forever until they move. It is not… Time goes by so fast, probably because it's so much fun! On Friday, it's time for Polly to move to her family, then she will be 14 weeks old. Perino will stay another week or so. We will really miss them!
A kitten develops extremely quickly, here is a small overview of the P litter's development during the 13 first weeks of life:
Mother Nellie started to go on heat last week, so now she really thinks it's time for these kittens to move away from home… However, she has to wait for a new litter until next year 🙂 For us, one litter a year is perfect, we think we have time to engage with them then – and to long for the next one!
The kittens are so very fast now, they run at breakneck speed up and down the stairs and when the front door opens they are quickly there trying to get out. You have to be careful where you put your feet! They are also wild at play and skilled hunters of toy mice. Mother Nellie still tries to occasionally come in with some more realistic loot for them, but we stop her at the door… Here is a short film to show what food wrecks they are, they love the wet food that they get morning and evening. We usually say ksksksks, and they know it means fooood!
As we told you before, the kittens like to come to us if we watch TV in the evening. Here, it is Perino who is interested in what is happening on the screen:
Penny thought it was very exciting with the round of 16 in the World Cup where Sweden met the USA:
This week's “nice photos” you can find as usual at P litter's page. These are the last pictures of that kind, because Polly has moved next weekend.
