It has now been almost two weeks since I last wrote a post about the kittens. The plan was that I would have had time to do it a little earlier, but this weekend we celebrated the wedding of our youngest daughter Ida and her Alex, so the last week we have been really busy! One of the days we had a party here at home and that really meant social training for the kittens. Firstly, we have had our ten-year-old cousin staying here for a week, he loves cats and they love him. Partly, we have cleaned and fixed a lot so now the kittens are used to – almost – anything. It's exciting to clear out cupboards and clean windows!

During the party itself, the kittens stayed in a room upstairs so that they wouldn't accidentally get outside. Many guests came along and visited the kittens, and Otto also got to accompany one of them outside. He thought that was very luxurious, he lay in the arms of more than one and just looked around – for a long time. Both he and his siblings are very cool cats.

Even though they are so big now, they sometimes get to nurse for a short time on mother Nellie. She cherishes them but now also sometimes shows that she thinks it is time for them to move…

They are really big and ready to move now. In recent weeks, they have developed a lot in temperament, they seek a lot of contact with us humans and like to be petted. They stretch out on the floor at our feet, begging for attention.
It will not be easy to part with these kittens, but at the same time it will be good to share those wonderful individuals. We believe and hope they will bring a lot of joy to their new homes. We will enjoy them as much as we can in the last week!
