Now the kittens are starting to think that they can do well without their mother most of the time. New things they come across are just exciting, they wander about with their tails in the air as if they own the world. Very cute! Though they still love their mother, of course, it's just that they do not care at all that she worries about them.
They play and spend most of their time with each other, but they are also beginning to become their own individuals.
At the beginning of the week, they were allowed to come out into the kitchen, it was really fun! It is exciting for us to see how the kittens react when they come to completely new parts of the house. It feels like a good sign that they feel secure when they are fearless and just stomping around. Tonight they have been given even more space and also got to come out into the living room. It did not take many minutes before they had examined everything in the whole room.
Of course they sleep a lot too. Like here, where Olga sleeps like a log and cannot be disturbed:
Now that it has been so hot for a few days, they lie stretched out next to each other, when it is a little cooler, they lie more in a pile. Here are some different sleeping pictures.
