This post is published a little late, the kittens were already six weeks in the weekend that passed. In the pictures at N litter's page however, they have just turned six weeks.
Now the little ones also live in the kitchen, it is so much fun to have them there! It is so fun to watch when they first get an extended space. We want them to be confident and curious and it only took a minute before they ran around in the kitchen with their tails in the air and explored everything new.
They are naturally involved in everything we do in the kitchen – for better or for worse. Working on their socialization is easy, they get used to all the movements and sounds, but we have to be careful to make sure we do not lock them in in any cabinet or drawer. They are so incredibly curious and aware of what we do. An open door means adventure!
The three are always connected , they are constantly together in play and in sleep. They are happy, courageous and quite hard-handed to each other in their playings. Sometimes they bite so hard into each other that they beep loudly. It is good to get used to the fact that everything is not just soft and nice.
We have now started cutting their claws, it goes well even though they are still a little thoughtful about what clawcutting should be good for. They have also received their first deworming.
The little kittens like to fall asleep in our arms, otherwise the favorite place to sleep is a soft and fine cat bed – where they gladly crowd themselves together. Sometimes it gets too hot, then they stretch out on the floor or on the carpet.
You can find the six weeks' pictures at N litter's page.
