With six very playful kittens in the house, we have to consider where we put our things. Everything that is possible to play with, bite or tear in will definetely be played with. Of course it is very fun to be an observer of this!
Most of the time, of course, they play with their own toys, which they have a lot of.
We cut their claws once a week, it goes just fine. It is to accustom the kittens to getting claws cut, of course, but also to protect the furniture and ourselves at the crazy outbursts…
This week we have filmed a short, playful film of each kitten, these films can be found on the L litter page. Some of the kittens are more tired than the others on the film, closer to sleep… After play, rest and sleep will always come, it goes pretty fast to fall asleep when you're a little kitten. First you lay down, then it only takes a minute before you are completely dropped off.
Once someone has fallen asleep, the others often do that too. The absolute favorite place to sleep at right now is the bowl on the coffee table… Most often it is Loke who grabs it first…
… but it happens that one other gets there before him.
One day, Lisen thought it was a bit unfair that Loke should always sleep in the bowl, She was probably thinking that one would be able to fit two kittens in it – and she was right!
One day, it looked like the three of them had put themselves in a line to sleep in bowl:
Otherwise, they are obviously sleeping in many different places, as on the floor:
Or on a pillow in the armchair:
Sometimes we see one of the kittens sleeping like mom Embla likes to do – with her front paws crossed. It looks very cute and cool!
A few times a day the kittens are still suckling embla, even if dry- and wet food since long time is what they actually are getting their energy from. They no longer have space to suckle all at once, but here's a photo when they are five:
This week we have had a nice visit by Cia, Emil, Hugo, John and Irma. They have now booked Lilly and Loke who in a few weeks will move to this great family in Varberg. Leo is also booked, he is moving to Stockholm to Jonna, Tobias, Emma, Oskar and Ellie – the same lovely family who bought Jessie in Emblas J-litter from us. In a few days, Mimmi will come for a visit, she has reserved Laban as hers. It has now become clear that Lisen and Lovis are still for sale, so now we are looking for really nice homes for them. Both of them are wonderful, so if you want to you can tell any cat lover you know!
9-weeks photos of the kittens you will find as usual L litter's page.
Vilka härliga bilder och filmer!
Tack Cia!
Håll ut, fyra veckor går snabbt! För snabbt, tycker vi… 🙂
