We can not see enough of these wonderful kittens, and they seem happy with it! As soon as we come and sit by them, they want to join us and trample around us.
They are amazingly lively and strong all of them. For now they may be outside the nest box when we're with them, but in the coming week, they get a little more out on the floor on their own.
They are never completely by themselves, have all their siblings as company and a watchful mom.
Mom Embla is constantly with them in the nest box, just take short trips to eat and stretch her legs.
You can tell when you see her that she has many kittens, she eats a lot but is slim and a bit worn. It seems that she can not get the milk to be enough no matter how much she eats.
So we have started to support feeding the small ones a little, it gets calmer for both Embla and her kids. In a week, they can start to taste some other food, until then they sometimes get a little milk supplement once or twice a day.
They have now begun to play a little with each other, even though it is still gentle. Loki has understood how he should do to be able to look outside the box, he struggles and succeeds!
This week's photos can be found at L litter's page. Group photo was basically impossible to succeed with so it is not very successful…
