Not much new here…

Posted on 23 April, 2017 by Pernilla

Here everything rolls as usual, cat life is calm and quiet. Ellen has moved to Ida, studying in Karlstad, but now and then she comes here and lives for a few days so the cats do not forget about each other. It works fine!

Embla on Lasse's lap, Tova and Gulli right beside…

Tova, Embla and Gulli really love that spring and summer is coming, especially they enjoy when we ourselves are in the garden so that they may keep company with us there. And so they like to be with us on the sofa in the evening. 🙂

Gulli and Tova

We're waiting for Gulli to become pregnant. She is actually mated a couple of times with lovely Julle but he has had some problems getting females pregnant so at the moment we are still waiting.

Now we will try with another male when Gulli starts to go on heat again. More information about this will come later.

Gulli, a dark beauty

Our Matilda is a ceramist and one of her bowls stands on the kitchen table. Gulli loves to shove down in it! Actually, she may not be on the kitchen table, but when she lies in the bowl, we don't have the heart to take her down…

A bowl cat 🙂

Embla will wait a few months before we plan to mate her. She is now a mature lady with a wonderful , social personality.

Embla – also in the kitchen window 🙂

Embla has a funny habit that every time she gets up in Lasse's lap on the TV-couch, she will first taste a little, bit of Lasse's chin and nose – Then she lies down peacefully. 🙂

Embla an early spring day

Emblas daughter from the last litter – Jamina – has been to her first show this weekend. She received great reviews, got Ex1 and was nominated to the panel both days – of course we congratulate to the fine results!! Jamina looks really like her mother even if she is darker than Embla.

Your cats are so beautiful! And how nice to see a litter sibling for Jessi! Imagine if Jessi becomes as fluffy as Embla ?

      Hey Jonna!
Just like Jamina, Jessi is very similar to her mother – if nothing else to the manner! 🙂 Embla became very furry her first winter – when she was one year old – and then she has always had a lot of fur in the winters and is more lightly dressed in the summer. You can look at some pictures at her side here on the website. Have a nice time!
