Yesterday we went with Embla on show, arranged in Mölndal by Göteborg's Raskattklubb. It is a good sized show with a slightly different approach on assessments. Instead of the common form of norming to the panel the judges picks out their five favorites whome they then rank in the panel.
Embla was assessed by Kristina Rautio who assessed all adult fertile cats in Category II. Our lovely missy was not chosen for the panel but got great criticism. Type: Lovely in size, beautiful body, ex length and broad, ex strong in bones, Head: Lovely pretty face, nice rounded profile and firm chin, Eyes: ex colour, sweet expression, a bit in small size, Ears: ex shape and size, ex set, Coat: beautifully coated, ex tabby markings, quite even socks and gauntlets, Condition: Super lovely condition, explicit birman look. Very pretty birman lady!
Since it was the first show since Embla became ten months she now got her first certification on the way to her Champion title. 🙂
The photos in this post, Ida took a couple of weeks ago when we had some snow here. Embla loves the snow! Right now you can see the photos on the start page, but they are also to be seen on Embla's page.
