Saturday 7 December we were at a show in Gothenburg Embla. She behaved so nicely and really handles shows like she hasn't done anything else, lies down and sleeps in the cage as soon as she enters it. With eleven days left until the 10-month-day, it could not be any certificate, but it's fun to get an appraisal and the social training is great for a lady with such a determined mind as Embla has. She got really nice assessment: Type: Lovely young female, amazing body and strong, short legs, Ex substance. Head: Beautiful, rather broad shape with fine contour, Ex profile. Eyes: Ex in all regards. Ears: Medium size. Coat: Ex coated! Collar! Ex body colour + points, gloves ex, gauntlets a little short. Tail: Excellent. Condition: Excellent with + +. General impression: Very promising!! Above that, she got an Ex1 and a nomination to the panel, great fun! No judges' votes in the panel, but we are so happy anyway!
Embla has become a truly nice cat, was so determined as a youngster but now she's so sociable and easy to handle. We like her a lot!
Here is a failed photo of all three birmans. Wanted to take a nice photo to use as Christmas card, but Ellen could not stop preening Embla… 🙂
Sweet, sweet Embla.
Congratulations to good critique of the exhibition.
