Ten weeks and vaccinated!

Posted on 29 July, 20262 August, 2026 by Pernilla

During this week, the kittens have found their way onto the kitchen sofa, and thus also to the kitchen window. With every litter, once they've found it, they like to be there – a lot! It is exciting to climb around among the potted plants, so the windowsill becomes quite dirty…

Signe balances on the back of the kitchen sofa and Sally sits on the windowsill
Now Sally has climbed into the pot and Signe is watching
Here go Sixten balancing act and Sally has found another pot…
This is how it looks on the windowsill afterwards…

But the kitchen sofa is also very comfortable to sleep on, especially on the blanket that lies on it.

Sixten has crawled in and fallen asleep inside the blanket

The kittens have also suddenly discovered that there is a claw tree in the living room, so now they play in it and like to sleep at the top, closest to the ceiling.

Yesterday we went to the vet for the kittens' first vaccination. It went so well and the kittens were praised for being so calm and easy to handle. A visit to the vet means a lot of new, exciting things, such as go in a car. They managed it gallantly, seemed to look at it as just another adventure. Mother Penny, who is calm and safe when she goes by car, should also be vaccinated, so she came along as a good role model.

All four in the transport box – heading out on an adventure!

When we got to the vet, we were allowed to enter a separate room straight away, and then the cats were allowed to go around and investigate the room. It is good and educational to explore new environments, there was a lot to look at. The kittens thought it was exciting, but mom Penny probably thought it was a bit too challenging not really keeping track of her babies.

During the week, we have had a long-distance nice visit of Maja and Rebeka, who are guardian home for the kittens' father Qasper. Of course they liked the kittens a lot and the kittens liked them a lot! It was fun to show how nice the kittens in Qasper's first litter have become.

On the page of the S litter you will find the 10-week pictures.
