You know, it's very cute when little kittens of four weeks play with each other. They wrestle, sneak up on each other and attack – but everything happens in a rather clumsy way. So charming! You can watch them forever!

During the week, they have been allowed to come out onto the floor in part of the laundry room, so now they have started to crawl up into our laps. Even that is an adventure for them, they are not that big yet so a human leg is a challenge to climb! They now also do things that adult cats do more and more, such as washing oneself.

Of course, the kittens still sleep a large part of the day, but now you can see that they are awake for longer and longer moments. Mother Penny probably likes it most when they sleep, if they go too far from the nesting box, she talks to them and gets in their way so they turn around “homeward” again.

But we can also see a slight tendency towards Penny wanting to fool around a bit with her children, when they play with each other she tries to join in a bit. It looks a little awkward, but we're guessing she'll have a lot of fun with them when they get a little bigger. Penny is only three years old and has a lot of playfulness left!

You can find this week's nicer and not as blurry pictures in the page of the S litter.
